Let's venture back to 1922 when the faeries needed a spokeswoman to bring to
light the precision and exactness of creation. A girl-child was born and named
Virginia Davis who later added a Mr. Ernie Hamer to her family tree of creative
and artistic beings; their three children were born.
Virginia's childhood stories were told as her children grew in knowledge and
understanding. Each wanted to see the faeries that their mother saw as a child.
The Faerie Folks whispered their names to Virginia as she walked about her
neighborhoods, journaling all she was told and saw.
Virginia's life progressed from childhood to adult. All the while the fleeting
sparks that hovered in the gardens of her neighborhood, contacted her in her
dreams and nightmares. The faerie folks would skitter by as she glimpsed them
when the raindrops on glass reflected their image. The dragonflies would stop to
talk to her, as she wondered how they could fly.
The stories expanded; first Chapter 1, Creation and Development and part 2, the
færies, angels and spirits were documented. In the mind of Virginia, she would
ask "What is their purpose and are they a part of a plan?" The questions would
echo again and again.
There was no story structure written, no dialogue or revisions. Virginia sat
with her fingers on the keys of her 1960's typewriter wondering what would be
next. Nine complex realms with a hierarchy were complete. She typed 26 chapters
of faerie life, of realms, of leaders of faeries, groups of entities, births and
deaths, laughter and anger, of joy and sorrow.
She typed the unknown story bits
about Lucifer; how and why he became the Lord of the Underworld, about his
conjured mind creatures that are nothing more than fog and mist. She was told
about Lucifer's desires, pride, greed and self-importance that caused his
expulsion from his high status. The writing and illustrations continued until
all 162 angels, fairies and spirits were documented. Virginia joined a local
writers group and her quest for publication began.
Time and again publishers said no. Her agents told her to extract the stories
from her manuscripts; Spheres within Spheres Series came to realization. Now the
books are being published. "Spheres within Spheres Series" is a collection of
the faeries, angels and spirits that contacted Virginia since her childhood and
throughout her lifetime. At ninety-five-years young in 2017, over 160
illustrations of the faeries, angels and spirits were added to the text for over
60 years and collected into a binder, and placed on a shelf in her home library.
Virginia Davis Hamer was pleased to share the stories with those who wish to know
the unseen spiritual worlds. Virgina Hamer passed in January of
2021. |
